The Sales Performance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our sales team, ensuring that they meet and exceed their targets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement effective strategies to improve sales performance. This role will work in partnership with the sales leadership team to develop and implement strategies, processes, and tools that support the sales organization in achieving its profitability goals for both software and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive towards sales organization cost objectives, leading to EBITDA goals.
- Develop and maintain sales performance metrics.
- Arrive at accurate statistics and reports of sales activities/cost per product line.
- Monitor and advise on product line strategy and costs.
- Identify and address performance issues within the sales team
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Create and deliver sales performance reports to senior management.
- Implementation of salesmen employment contracts and quota reviews.
- Lead sales enablement initiatives, ensuring the sales team has the necessary tools, content, and training to succeed.
- Oversee the onboarding of new account managers, providing training and resources to ensure they are well-prepared to meet performance expectations.
- Review the accuracy of commissions.
- In collaboration with the Sales Operations Manager, track team performance, forecasts, goals and objectives.
- Implement sales incentive programs to motivate the team
- Maintain relationships and collaborate with executives, partners and sales team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management and sales operations, with a track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong financial, numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French. ( The position requires regular interaction with colleagues, suppliers and customers based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally).
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- Background in Engineering or Computer Science is a plus.
- Proficiency in sales operations tools and technologies, such as CRM systems, sales analytics platforms, and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and sophisticated managerial skills
