We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Analyst (Financial Systems) to join our team.  This role is critical in supporting the finance department's core systems and applications, ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and efficient operations.  The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing custom SQL databases, and providing technical support for key company applications including Salesforce, and NetSuite.  This position requires a blend of technical expertise, financial acumen, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing custom SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Write and modify SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting and data integration needs.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of SQL databases.
• Application Support:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for key financial applications, including Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Work with users to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide training as needed.
  • Liaise with application vendors for support and escalation when necessary.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features.
• Development:
  • Develop and maintain minor enhancements or integrations using .NET (C# preferred) to support financial systems.
  • Write scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency. (Javascript, APEX)
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with finance team members to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving financial systems and data.
  • Document processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role supporting financial systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL query writing, stored procedures, and database administration.
  • Experience providing application support, preferably for financial systems.
  • Basic programming skills in .NET (C# preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Salesforce,and/or NetSuite.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
