Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and play a critical role in managing financial consolidation, forecasting, and intercompany processes across multiple entities and currencies. Reporting to the VP Finance and working closely with the Corporate Controller and the FP&A Manager, you will support accurate financial reporting, enhance FP&A capabilities, and ensure compliance with accounting standards in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. You will also contribute to the implementation of our ERP system and the transition to a new consolidation process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial consolidation, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and reconciliation of consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow). Excel based, transitioning to NetSuite ERP.
- Prepare and maintain the monthly Forecast model by using the same excel-based P&L, B/S and Cashflow files by company and consolidated, ensuring that it balances and reconciles.
- Compile the forecast by incorporating actuals, projections for revenues, cost of sales and commissions from the FP&A Manager and expense updates from the Controller. Estimate the deferred margin on projected revenues and update the FX rate forecast.
- Maintain and update the Salaries & Benefits tracking file, forecast open positions, and ensure alignment with hiring plans and payroll updates. Analyze and explain salary variances for monthly FP&A presentations.
- Calculate and manage quarterly transfer pricing for actuals and forecasts, ensuring proper journal entries and eliminations at consolidation.
- Support the NetSuite implementation and data migration for consolidated financial statements, eliminations, and the chart of accounts. Evaluate loading the forecast into NetSuite and consolidating there, then exporting to Excel, assessing optimal process changes to the forecast model and approach.
- Manage the monthly close calendar, ensuring timely completion of key financial processes.
- Roll forward the financial model annually, ensuring data integrity across all entities and consolidated levels.
- Support external audits by preparing and providing required documentation and reports.
- Train new team members and act as a backup for accountants when necessary.
- CPA designation or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, consolidation, and forecasting in a multi-entity environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and multi-currency accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual in French and English, with strong communication skills to present financial information clearly. ( The position requires regular interaction with colleagues, suppliers and customers based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally).
